Exhibition design exploring hope, expectation and community.
Alternative Futures is an exhibition derived from community workshops around the North East of England. It gives local people an opportunity to voice their hopes, fears and predictions for the future of their area.
Laura created a series of striking posters – natural, yet futuristic, both parts bleak and positive. The exhibition was displayed in a number of galleries around Sunderland, Gateshead and Newcastle (and later Northumberland), giving visitors an opportunity to add their own thoughts and responses.
